Mrs. Denise Swarthout

Mrs. Swarthout is the Chief Communications Officer for Decatur Public Schools. In her role, Mrs. Swarthout oversees both internal and external communications and serves as the spokesperson for the District.

Mrs. Swarthout joined Decatur Public Schools in October 2019, following a career in broadcast journalism and public service in communications with the State of Illinois.
