Health Services

Decatur Public Schools Health Services mission is to eliminate health-related barriers to learning, so that every child can be in school and ready to learn. Our team of school nurses promote the overall wellness of the schools by identifying children with special needs, performing health assessments of students, supervising and administering prescribed medications, providing emergency care, and performing other health-related tasks.
