Seasonal Flu
Seasonal Flu Facts:
- A Respiratory Illness
- Can vary in severity from mild to severe
- Spread from person to person from coughing or sneezing of the infected person
Signs & Symptoms- Fever
- Cough
- Sore Throat
- Headache or Body Aches
- Sometimes Vomiting or Diarrhea occur
Prevention & Control- Cover your cough and sneeze and teach children to do the same
- Wash your hands often and teach children proper hand washing
- Keep your child home if they are ill with any one or combination of the above symptoms
DO NOT return your child to school until fever-free for 24 hours
without the use of medication to reduce the fever.
