Johns Hill Alumni Walk

  • An "Alumni Walk" will be installed in front of the newly-built Johns Hill Magnet School. Those who attended Johns Hill know that it was more than a school - it was a home away from home! The hope is that those still attending JHMS will feel the same when they leave the school. The dedicated teachers and staff, music and arts programs, amazing diversity, and parent involvement (and perhaps the spooky tales too) are just a few of the MANY reasons why alumni loved their time at JHMS. Beautifully-inscribed bricks can now be purchased to honor or remember favorite teachers, classmates, family members, sports teams, and individuals. These bricks and pavers will be installed in the Fall of 2023 with a dedication ceremony to follow. 

    We are pleased to help you commemorate your connection to Johns Hill Magnet School. You may purchase a brick in any of the three sizes (4" x 8", 8" x 8" and 12" x 12"). Your purchase is 100% tax-deductible and the project supports enrichment programming provided by the Decatur Public Schools Foundation.
